You have a diploma in business administration, office administration or equivalent field, a minimum of three years’ experience in providing administrative support and coordination. You are committed to union principles. You also possess knowledge of reconciliation, document and reporting processes, of meeting logistics, scheduling and general administrative functions. You have familiarity with methods and techniques of data entry along with automated systems and applications. You will provide cross functional support to the administrative and representation services teams. You also act as the primary point of contact on member and general inquiries necessitating strong customer service and communication skills. This position is an integral part of the team and provides back up to other positions as required. You will also liaise with federal departments such as Treasury Board and bargaining agents.
You possess strong organizational, administrative, planning and time management skills and are able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. You are proficient in MS Office and have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
SALARY: $ 52,658 – 75,712 (Level G2 – 2023 - Union COPE Local 225)
JOB TERM: Indeterminate Full-time (35 hours per week)

VACATION: 4 weeks/year and other paid leave
